The Magic of Blending Your Own Hues

You don't need a hundred individual jars to access every shade in the spectrum. Super light clay blends seamlessly like oil paint, without staining fingers or surfaces.

The Primary Mixing Guide

  • Soft Peach & Terracotta: 3 parts White + 1 part Orange + a tiny pinch of Brown.

  • Sage & Pastel Mint: 4 parts White + 1 part Sky Blue + a touch of Warm Yellow.

  • Lavender Mist: 5 parts White + 1 part Soft Purple.

Step-by-Step: The Layered Pastel Rainbow

Step 1: Roll the Strands

Mix five distinct custom colors. Roll each into a coil roughly 6 inches long and 1/3-inch thick.

Step 2: Arch and Connect

Form the smallest color band into an arch on parchment paper. Gently wrap each consecutive color along the outer edge of the previous curve, ensuring each strand touches without flattening.

Step 3: Trim the Base

Use a plastic hobby knife or clay ruler to slice clean, level bottoms across the rainbow ends.

Step 4: Dry Flat

Leave flat for 24 to 36 hours. Flip gently once the top feels dry to ensure balanced curing through the bottom.
